High performance and overall efficiencies, were main characteristics when designing this home. The architect did a great job, capturing beautiful views and detailing beautiful solution, while being cost conscious.
For example, lintels are hidden inside the roof panels, and therefore alowing for tall windows without creating any extra cost.
This home features a 315mm Formance Roof with an R value of 8.3. Large profile edging timber was used as a lintel allowing for floor to ceiling windows.
