Fairfield Construction is a family owned and operated building company based in sunny Blenheim, Marlborough. Specialised in energy-efficient and passive houses, we have been building and renovating homes for over 30 years. Our aim is to build beautiful homes, that are warmer and healthier, and which people will still love in a hundred years. By using high-performance and environmentally friendly building products, and minimising our waste on-site, we can create homes that are better for our clients and the environment.
'Fairfield has been building homes in Marlborough for over 30 years. Our journey began in 1988 as a small family-owned company, called John Thompson Builders.
In 2021 we decided that it was time to rebrand our identity to Fairfield Construction.' We are dedicated to going beyond building as provided in the architectural plans. The Fairfield team is invested in finding methods and products to improve the quality of all our builds by offering sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives to make each build last for many years with less impact on our environment. But the boys alone could not build these incredible houses by themselves. Only with the support of their whānau and by working closely together with our clients, architects and subcontractors, we can deliver an outstanding product and make the building experience one to enjoy. We take pride in all our projects, ranging from high-end residential builds, renovations and light commercial work. We are big enough to get the job done but small enough to care.
