InsideOut helps you anticipate and demonstrate building performance
InsideOut is a New Zealand based building performance consultancy focusing on Buildings That Work. At InsideOut, we believe every building can perform better so we work with you to design buildings that are comfortable, resourceful and energy efficient.
For building performance, InsideOut is the first port of call to many architects, engineers, project managers, owners and occupiers, and product suppliers. Since 2015 we have been working with project teams across New Zealand, from Kaitaia to Rakiura.
Whilst the building code provides legal minimums wouldn’t you want to know how to optimise the design? We discover and evaluate design options, providing advice that enables better informed decisions, and helping you to create projects that are not only cost effective, but stand the test of time. The end result is buildings that work better for longer.
Whether you are looking for technical advice, a specialist report, or modelling and simulation, we enjoy unravelling the issues to provide you with what you need to go ahead. InsideOut provides support and reporting for NZBC H1, E3, G4 and G7 using international standard tools (including EDSL Tas dynamic thermal and daylight modelling, and WUFI® simulation) to reflect your design.
Building Performance means Buildings That Work
We’re building assets, financial, social and sustainable, but do you know what you’re getting? Building performance engineering is the link between each building and the people who use them.
Whether your project is residential, commercial, public, community, justice, retirement, government, health, education, or industrial we have experience in providing access to technical and integrated building performance consultancy backed by 30 years of experience.
Our clients tell us how they feel:
- “It’s great to know we have such accessible expertise.”
- “Always on hand, and effective, on our most challenging projects.”
- “Client focussed with a willingness to work through difficult scenarios.”
- “Your work has given us a lot of assurances going ahead.”
- “Thanks for getting involved. We would have been blithely going on thinking we had a design, and then finding out too late that it was a ‘not fit for purpose’ building.”
