Frost Architectural Builders started in 1986 when my father, Garry Frost, decided to build homes the way he believed they should be built. Properly. With pride in the work. And with the kind of attention to detail that meant clients could trust the result. I grew up around that mindset. At 17, I started my carpentry apprenticeship working directly under Dad. That’s where I learned the foundations of the trade. Not just how to build, but how to think about building properly. Dad was big on doing things right the first time. Preparation mattered. Accuracy mattered. Reputation mattered. These are the things that are engrained in each of our team members.
We have built a structured pre-construction process. We aim to provide final pricing from consent issue plans, with detailed breakdowns across each part of the project. Before any contract is signed, we make sure there is complete clarity between us and the client about scope, cost, and expectations. It removes surprises and makes the entire build far smoother for everyone involved.
Nearly four decades after Frost Architectural Builders began, those early standards are still the backbone of the company.
We’re proud to have been members of the Master Builders Association for 37 years. Over that time the company has received multiple Master Builders House of the Year awards, including winning National Renovation of the Year in 2023 in the $750,000 – $1.5M category.
Awards are great recognition, but the real satisfaction comes from the work itself.

What I enjoy most about building is watching a design come to life.
